Columbia College Chicago’s department of Creative Writing proudly presents STORY WEEK 2015, March 15th through the 21st.

This year’s featured authors include: 

Samantha Irby (author of MEATY), Audrey Niffenegger (Her Fearful Symmetry), Marlon James (The Book of Night Women), Edwidge Danticat (Breath, Eyes, Memory), Regina Taylor (Trinity River Plays), Chris Abani (Becoming Abigail), T. Geronimo Johnson (Welcome to Braggsville), Garnett Kilberg Cohen (Swarm to Glory), Mitchell S. Jackson (The Residue Years) and Bernice L. McFadden (The Warmest December).

Featured events include:

From Writing to Publishing (11AM Wed. March 18th @ Harold Washington Library) featuring Curbside Splendor Managing Editor, Naomi Huffman in conversation with Regina BrooksJohnny Temple and more. The panel will be moderated by Donna Seaman// Free and open to the public //

Young Adult Fiction: Into Darkness and Back Again (2PM Thurs. March 19th @ Harold Washington Library) with authors like Jessie Ann Foley and Daniel Kraus in conversation with Laurie Lawlor.


2nd Story @ Story Week (6PM Sun. March 15th @ Martyrs’) featuring Wyl VillacresDeb R. LewisAlexis Pride and Eric Hazen. This special edition of 2nd Story will be hosted by Megan Stielstra and Bobby Biedrzycki.
