Celebrate the one-year anniversary of the feminist forward reading series Miss Spoken tomorrow night at 7pm at The Gallery Cabaret (2020 N Oakley Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60647). The theme for this installment of Miss Spoken is “Mothers”, and will feature readings by Samantha Abernathy, Shanna Strum and more. Rosamund Lannin and Carly Oishi host. // $5 suggested donation // 17+ // 


The XX, Will Travel Launch Party will feature Podcasters/authors Ines Bellina, Kathy Pulkrabek, and Kyna Lenhof telling travel-themed stories with Elizabeth Gomez, live music by White Mule, travel trivia and unlimited high-fives! This fun event will take place at 6:30pm at Celtic Crown Public House (4301 N Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60618).
