Melissa Patino is a native of Chicago and a graduate of Columbia College’s Fine Art program. In her work she makes use of human anatomy to recontextualize our relationships to one another and our environments. She juxtaposes elements of the body with landscapes and portraits to form a narrative about our psychology, physiology, and how we experience the world.
