Two Cookie Minimum, the beloved Chicago reading series produced by Johnny Wawrzaszek, will make a triumphant return to the live lit scene on Tuesday May 12th at 8pm at the Comfort Station (2579 N Milwaukee Ave Chicago, IL 60647) in Logan Square.
The series, which began in 2010, announced a hiatus following the closing of the Hungry Brain in 2014. The Hungry Brain was the home-base for the series for over two and a half years. As the title of the series implies, when audience members go to an installment of the series, they’re greeted at the door with a variety of delicious cookies and allowed two to enjoy while they settle in to enjoy an evening of live literature.
When The Hungry Brain announced their closing last year, Wawrzaszek worried about the future of his series, but now all fears can be put to rest because Two Cookie is returning! We hope those of you who have never been to an episode of Two Cookie do yourselves a favor and make plans to see this show, we promise you won’t regret it!
