Come out to Women & Children First (5233 N Clark St, Chicago, Illinois 60640) to hear Caroline Heller read from Reading Claudius: A Memoir in Two Parts, Wednesday night at 7:30pm. Heller’s memoir traces the lives of her parents, her uncle, and their circle of intellectuals and dreamers from Central Europe on the eve of World War II to present-day America. // Free event // All ages // 

Thursday

Author Aviya Kushner will be reading from her book, The Grammar of God, this Thursday night at 7:30pm at Women & Children First (5233 N Clark St, Chicago, Illinois 60640). Kushner’s book explores her relationship with mentor, Marilynne Robinson, the Bible, and the  Hebrew language. // Free event // All ages //
